Bald Eagles

We are proud of our bald eagle population downtown along the Rock river front. Here people can watch the eagles soar over head and hunt for fish in the river while they enjoy a morning cup of coffee as there are plenty of areas to sit and watch these majestic birds. There are nests along the banks and during the late spring early summer you can watch the eaglets learning to fly.

Summer:

Our local water ski team with more than 60 total tournament victories, including 21 U.S. National Championships. They perform free water ski shows on Sunday and Wednesday evenings from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The Rock Aqua Jays often host the National and World Water Ski Show Championships.
